Sleestak Sunday Went to Georgia

Lindsey Stirling has nothing on this sleestak created by Smurfygeorge

The Devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat.
And he laid that golden fiddle on the ground at Sleestak's feet.
Sleestak said, "Devil, just come on back if you ever wanna try again,
'Cause I've told you once--you son of a bitch--I'm the best there's ever been."

  1. I remember that song well. It began:

Sleestak God went down to Georgia
He was looking for a soul to steal
He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind
And he was willin' to make a deal

When he came across young Will Marshall
Sawing on a fiddle and playing like this
And the sleestak jumped up on a hickory stump
    And said, "Sssssssssssssss"

    ....
Fire from Torchy run Holly run
Weather crystal's changin' the rising sun
Chaka's in the stone soup, pickin out stones...
Holly does Dopey bite, no Zarn, no....

  2. One of the best songs ever, and the original isn't bad either!

  3. Kind of has a "Fiddler on the Roof" vibe going on.
